offer face to face (by appointment), e mail and advice on a number of issues including, sexual health, coming
out, HIV and Hep B/C testing as well as general sexual health &
HIV advice and information. We have a specialist worker offering
peer support and advice specifically related to living with HIV.

programme for gay and bisexual men, regardless of HIV status. No previous artistic ability required - so why not try it!

:A monthly activities
group for Gay and Bisexual men of African or Caribbean heritage, regardless of HIV status.
Informal, relaxed, friendly and fun. Sessions include discussions,
social events, workshops and film nights. It aims to provide educational/information
based meetings and social events with a strong emphasis on the community
element in a fun, relaxed, informal way.

Kaleidoscope facilitator: Dennis Carney moved to London from Manchester in 1982 to come out as a Black gay man. In the mid 80’s Dennis was elected Chair of the Black Lesbian & Gay Centre Project (BLGC) and established the UK’s first Black gay men’s discussion group, Let’s Rap in the early 90’s.
He was one of the official spokespersons for the hugely successful ‘Stop Murder Music Campaign’ and has appeared in several radio shows and TV documentaries that examine homophobia and race including, ‘Reggae, Trainers & the Olympics’ and ‘Batty Man’. For the last 8 years Dennis has facilitated workshops specifically aimed at Black Gay & Bisexual men at PACE and co-facilitates the well established and popular monthly group Black Connection.
In 2003 and 2007 he received Black LGBT Community Awards in recognition of his work with Black LGBT communities over the last 2 decades. Dennis feels excited about joining Kaleidoscope in April 2009 and is keen to continue the hard work that has helped make the group the success story it already is.

Himat:
Support
group meeting the emotional and practical needs of South Asian
gay, bisexual men and men who have sex with men. Aims to provide
access to information regarding sexuality, HIV transmission, emotional
and physical issues, condoms and sexually transmitted infection
information.

Positive
Life - Positively social :
Positive Life is a social group run by and for HIV positive men who have sex with men (MSM). If you live in, work in or receive you healthcare in East London, are HIV positive and a man who has sex with men, then this group is for you.
It aims to help HIV positive MSM to:
- Develop a new social network with other HIV positive MSM;
- Share knowledge about HIV and its treatments
- Obtain and provide peer support with other HIV positive MSM .
The meetings are a mix of information and social events. Meeting are currently once every two weeks on a Tuesday evening, from 6.30pm to 9.00pm. Refreshment are provided. See above for the dates of the next series of meetings.
The group is not a closed group, so you can come to any session you like. however, we encourage members to attend as many as possible to benefit from the group's social aspects. If it is your first visit, then we would like you to come a bit before 6.30, for an introductory chat.

Positive East Gay Men's team offer specialist information and advice on religious and cultural
issues, dealing with homophobia and hate crimes. All our Centres
operate as third party hate crime reporting sites. Our
Gay Mens service also works with schools and youth services
and delivers outreach support and advice on the development of appropriate services for
young gay men.
