Gift in your Will. Would you like to leave a donation in your will to Positive East?
A time comes in all our lives when we need to write a Will to ensure that we protect the future of our family and friends and leave a legacy. When you're preparing your Will, please consider making a gift to Positive East.
Your donation can help ensure that we can decrease the number of HIV transmissions through our prevention work, whilst increasing the number of early testing ensuring that people are diagnosed earlier and can be better supported.
Why it's so important to make a Will
Many people think that if they pass away without making a will their estate automatically goes to their partner or next of kin when they die. However, if you pass away without making a Will it is possible that your entire estate could go to the Crown.
Making a Will is the only way for you to plan how to take care of family, friends and support your favorite charity or charities after your death.

If you don't have a Will, or if you wish to update your current Will to make a donation, you should consult your solicitor.

In Memory Fundraising
In Memory gifts are special tributes to those you love. They can mean so much at a time of sadness and provide a tribute that will last for years to come.
When a loved one dies, you may wish to suggest that family and friends give an In Memory donation to Positive East instead of flowers at the funeral. Or you may wish to have an event on the anniversary of their death to celebrate their life by doing something that they loved, such as dancing or gardening etc. Any funds raised through this can be donated to Positive East and be restricted to a particular fund that can be used only for a particular project (whatever project you think your loved one would most want the money to go to).
