It’s Better to Know

A free, fast, friendly and confidential HIV testing service is available from Positive East. Open to all with no need to make an pre-booking, simply turn up and get your results.

We provide two rapid testing sessions at our Stepney centre:

• Saturday: 11.00am to 3.00pm
• Tuesday: 6.00pm to 9.00pm

It takes about 40 minutes from start to finish (including a pre- and post- counselling session), please ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the end of the session. Our Tuesday session is delivered in partnership with GMI Partnership and THT.

Additionally, we also run two dedicated HIV testing sessions in Hackney aimed at Africans living in Hackney, in partnership with City & Hackney NHS PCT.

• Saturday: 12.00pm to 3.00pm
  St John's Church, Lower Clapton Road, E5 0PD.
• Wednesday: 3.00pm to 6.00pm
  Geffrye Community Centre, Falkirk Street, N1 6SD.

Plus from Monday 8th November, in partnership with Newham NHS we will be introducing two HIV testing sessions at Vicarage Lane NHS Centre.

• Monday and Friday: 4.00pm to 7.00pm
  Vicarage Lane Centre, 10 Vicarage Lane, Stratford E15 4ES
