Positive East is currently recruiting for a Counselling Supervisor position:
Counselling Supervisor - Salary: Negotiable
- To provide weekly or fortnightly evening group counselling supervision to a small counselling team within an East London agency setting.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide weekly/fortnightly supervision on site
Work from within and bound by professional code of ethics/conduct
Receive own regular supervision
Liaise with and report to service manager
Attend meetings with service manager
Person Specification: Essential:
Qualified and accredited counsellor/psychotherapist
Hold a recognised qualification in supervision
At least two years supervisory experience
Able to work from within an integrative framework
Flexible with good communication skills
Person Specification: Preferred:
Experience of working in field of HIV or chronic illness
