Information for Professionals
Providing health information through partnership working, shared knowledge and collective learning with health professionals, PCT Commissioners and associated charity organisations working within the HIV sector.
Our aim is to create a safe environment for people to come and receive peer and professional support. Central to all our services is the principle of self empowerment i.e. people, where ever possible, should be independent and in control of their lives. To help maintain independence and not create dependence. Our services are set up to work with people to encourage them to achieve this.
Working closely within the communities across east London, Positive East is uniquely able to offer information and discussion based environments for Health Workers to update their knowledge and skills in the HIV health promotion field.
We can provide training and information awareness sessions/update briefing covering aspects which affect the various communities affected by or living with HIV across London.
Additionally, the Health workers web page will list the various forms and protocols used by Positive East, which are available for download and use.
For information on how Positive East may be able to meet your needs and information demands, email Steve Worrall at steve.worrall@positiveeast.org.uk or telephone 020 7791 2855.
