TECHNICOLOR Online

March 8, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

To be screened live on our Facebook Live at the time of the event.

This month we invite you to join us as we celebrate International Women’s Day and discuss the 2002 film ‘Frida‘ (available on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and Google Play Movie). This biopic about Frida Kahlo stars Salma Hayek in the role of the iconic world renowned artist.

Our guest host Renée will be joined by two special guests – Manpreet Dhindsa and Juno Roche.

– Manpreet is a bisexual Indian woman born and raised in London pursuing her dream of creating music and writing that explores her bisexuality along with her upbringing as a British Asian. She played a large role in Rainbow Films’ documentary Pride and Protest, exploring and bringing light to safe spaces for queer Asian people in London.

– Juno is an internationally recognised trans writer and campaigner – whose work explores class, gender, sexuality and trans lives – and is the Founder of Trans Workers UK and the Trans Teachers Network.

For more info about joining the Facebook Live event or if you’d like to submit a question to the panel beforehand, please get in touch at technicolor@positiveeast.org.uk
