SUMMARY:Mayor's Community Weekend at Positive East
DESCRIPTION:Positive East is taking part in this year’s Mayor’s Community Weekend\, and you’re warmly invited to come along and join our celebration event on Saturday 13th September from 11am to 3pm. \nThe event is open to anyone registered to use our services\, or eligible to\, but also to those involved in HIV care and support across NE London.  It’s also open to current Food Chain Eating Together clients. The theme of the Mayor’s Community Weekend is for communities to come together and celebrate London. \nDoors open at 10\,45. The day will include: \n\n11am – Movement workshop with Joshua Royal\n12 Noon – Sound Bath with Linda Cremin\n1pm – A delicious freshly cooked lunch provided by Food Chain\n2pm – A ‘London memory’ themed art workshop with Hera Santos\n\nThroughout the day there’ll be opportunities to learn more about our emotional and mental health support services \nThis event is supported by The National Lottery Community Fund and the Mayor of London\, as part of the Mayor’s Community Weekend 2025. \nIf travel costs are an obstacle to you coming along\, get in touch with any of the health and wellbeing staff\, or email talk2me@positiveeast.org.uk \nChildren are welcome\, but must remain under your supervision at all times
