SUMMARY:Stigma and Empowerment Course
DESCRIPTION:Are you living with HIV and want to feel more confident and in control of your status\, and develop new skills to live a more fulfilling and happier life? \nPositive East is running a course of four Empowerment & Self-Stigma workshops to help you: \n\nDevelop skills to live a life free of internalised stigma.\nLive well with HIV and know more about HIV and transmission including U=U (Undetectable means Untransmittable)\nExplore self-compassion to build your self-esteem and confidence\nDevelop self-advocacy skills\, support networks and even volunteering or work opportunities\n\nAll participants will receive a certificate of completion\, and the workshops are open to anyone living with HIV over 18 who live in East London\, or get their HIV treatment at an East London clinic \nCome and join us! If travel or care costs are a barrier to taking part\, you need to let us know in advance.
