DESCRIPTION:Our monthly lunch group for people living with HIV who either live in any of the East London Boroughs\, or get your HIV care an an East London clinic.  Usually on the first Thursday afternoon of the month\, the January lunch is a week later than usual because of the New Year holidays. \nJoin us for a tasty\, freshly prepared lunch provided by our colleagues from Food Chain. Stay and engage in one of our discussion topics\, hear from guest speakers\, or join in one of our Positive Over 50: Out And About trips to places of interest. SUMMARY:Positive Over 50: Out and About – British Museum
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first of our Positive Over 50: Out and About activities for 2025.  This time we’re taking a trip to the British Museum\, where there’s more than 50 galleries covering two million years of human history. In particular\, there’s the Africa Galleries which reveal the extraordinary cultural\, artistic and historical diversity and complexity of the continent in the Museum’s collections. \nWe will also be exploring The War Rugs -Afghanistan’s Knotted History exhibition and discover how weavers in Afghanistan have recorded the country’s turbulent history in traditional rugs in this new display. \nWe’ll be setting off from Positive East after the Positive Over 50: Lunch shortly after 2pm \nFor more information contact Mina on 020 7791 9301 or by email at mina.kakaiya@positiveeast.org.uk
