Positive Over 50: Lunch is our social and support lunch group for people living with HIV aged 50 and above, usually running on the first Thursday afternoon of each month. This month, we’ll also be celebrating International Day of Older People, which this year has the theme of The Part We Play: Celebrating the integral role of older people in our communities. We’ll be giving you a preview of our new Positive Over 50 Befriending service, and explaining how you might want to play your part as a Befriending volunteer.
Join us for a tasty, freshly cooked lunch prepared for us by our friends at Food Chain. Lunch will be served at 1pm in our friendly, relaxing cafe. Any meat is halal, and there are vegan/vegetarian choices.
This lunch group is for you if you are HIV positive, over 50, and either live in East London or get your HIV care in an East London clinic.
Places are limited and so please let us know in advance if you intend to come so we can plan for catering.
If travel or care costs are a barrier to taking part, you need to let us know in advance. See here for details of eligibility
