Join us for the first of our Positive Over 50: Out and About activities for 2025. This time we’re taking a trip to the British Museum, where there’s more than 50 galleries covering two million years of human history. In particular, there’s the Africa Galleries which reveal the extraordinary cultural, artistic and historical diversity and complexity of the continent in the Museum’s collections.
We will also be exploring The War Rugs -Afghanistan’s Knotted History exhibition and discover how weavers in Afghanistan have recorded the country’s turbulent history in traditional rugs in this new display.
We’ll be setting off from Positive East after the Positive Over 50: Lunch shortly after 2pm
