2023-2024 impact
Making an impact for people living with HIV
Society has lagged behind science in its response to HIV. People living with HIV still face stigmatisation and discrimination. These negative public attitudes led to people living with HIV facing higher than average rates of homelessness, poor mental health, and isolation.
We’re proud of our impact, helping to improve the lives of people living with HIV whilst making tangible progress to eliminate the onward transmission of HIV by 2030.
In 2023/24 key organisational highlights include:
Benefits maximised
420 people had their benefits maximised to ensure they can meet their basic needs.
Better sexual health training
1,200 community members trained on the importance of sexual health, reducing stigma around HIV and barriers to support.
Meals served
552 meals served, bringing people together over food to build stronger relationships and reduce isolation.
Supporting women
37 women supported through our Re:Assure Clinical psychological and group support.
