1-2-1 Counselling
Sometimes people need the opportunity to talk through their problems and concerns with a trained and qualified counsellor.
Our Counselling Service provides free and confidential one-to-one support. Our counsellors will listen to you without judgement and help you express feelings to work through the challenges that may be affected your mental health and ability to live well. Anything you discuss with your counsellor remains confidential.
Our counselling services are part of our Health and
Wellbeing services for people living with HIV. Sessions are delivered by
experienced and qualified volunteers, and can be offered in-person or online.
ReAssure – our Clinical Psychology programme for women
Re:Assure is our specialist Health and Wellbeing programme for women living with HIV who have experienced significant trauma. Many of the women who have to come to us have also had challenges both abroad and in the UK as migrants or refugees.
With individual psychological support from our Clinical Psychologist Joanne, and opportunities to get involved in group work and workshop courses, Re:Assure can help you on the way to overcoming past traumatic experiences and manage current ones.
Re:Assure group work and workshops can be a gateway for you to get involved in the programme and you’ll have the offer of an assessment from Joanne.
