An exhibition tour at the Whitechapel Gallery and group discussion reflecting on the art of Hamad Butt, attitudes towards HIV/AIDS then and now, and the power of art and creativity to tell our stories and build new narratives.
This will be a low stakes, relaxed, and informal space to explore themes of the exhibition and share thoughts, feelings, and responses that come up. No existing knowledge of Hamad Butt’s work is necessary – just a curiosity about art and how it relates to your own experiences!
Light food and drink will be provided.
This event is open to people living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS.
Booking is via this Eventbrite
