Are you living with HIV and want to feel more confident and in control of your status, and develop new skills to live a more fulfilling and happier life?
Positive East is running a course of four Empowerment & Self-Stigma workshops to help you:
- Develop skills to live a life free of internalised stigma.
- Live well with HIV and know more about HIV and transmission including U=U (Undetectable means Untransmittable)
- Explore self-compassion to build your self-esteem and confidence
- Develop self-advocacy skills, support networks and even volunteering or work opportunities
All participants will receive a certificate of completion, and the workshops are open to anyone living with HIV over 18 who live in East London, or get their HIV treatment at an East London clinic
Come and join us! If travel or care costs are a barrier to taking part, you need to let us know in advance. See here for details of eligibility
The workshop dates are over 4 weeks on Fridays – 27th September and 4th, 11th and 18th October
Time: 12:00 Noon – 2:00pm
