Positive East presents Rays of Resistance – an unforgettable evening of celebration set against the powerful backdrop of the arts’ role in HIV/AIDS activism.

Get ready for a dazzling display of music, dance, and spoken word performances narrated by singer and producer ROY INC. Witness how seminal artworks from the past challenged stigma and fostered a sense of community, while powerful voices of today ignite hope and inspire action.

100% of the funds raised on the night will go towards our Benefits Advice service for people living with HIV in East London.

In addition, the evening will feature film, photography and a tribute to the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt and ACTUP

The evening is presented as a celebration. The event is standing with multiple cashless bars. Throughout the evening, poetry, dance, live music, and spoken word will be performed, with a closing DJ set from the iconic Pam Hogg.

At times, the evening will be similar to a concert, vouge ball, club night and community celebration.  Please note there will be loud music, flashing lights and use of haze.

Yes, there will be multiple bars throughout the venue. 100% of the ticket sales and bar proceeds will be donated to Positive East.
