Green Light is our support group for anyone living with HIV who lives, or gets their HIV treatment in, East London. Offering a safe and supportive environment to help you connect with other people living with HIV, to socialise, have fun and learn and share with each other.
It takes place on the last Wednesday of every other month, alternating with our Women’s Group that is open to any woman (cis or trans) living with HIV who lives in East London, or gets their treatment here.
This month we’ve a treatment and wellbeing update from our special guest Susan Cole from NAM – an organisation we partner with, internationally known for many years for its work that changes lives by sharing independent, accurate & accessible information about HIV.
Susan is an award-winning HIV activist, broadcaster, writer and public speaker, advocating for people living with HIV for two decades. She’ll be updating us with all the recent and important updates in HIV treatment and key health issues for all people living with HIV, plus matters of interest to different groups of HIV+ people and in particular women’s wellbeing.
There’ll also be a tasty hot meal served from around 6.15 for everyone to share and get to know one another better. If travel or care costs are a barrier to taking part, you need to let us know in advance. Support is available to HIV positive people who live in East London (or get their HIV treatment in East London) who have no recourse to public funds, or are experiencing a gap in benefits or income.
