TECHNICOLOR is our regular LGBT+ Film Night in Ilford, in partnership with Redbridge Libraries! This will be shown in the York Room.
This month we would like to celebrate and promote both International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month with a South African film that tells the story of two Asian women falling in love in the 1950s, at the beginning of the apartheid. After the film, we are pleased to have LGBT+ activist Saima Razzaq leading a discussion on the topics of the film and how they apply to LGBT+ women of Asian descent living in the UK today.
The evening will finish with a selection of nibbles, juices and hot drinks.
For more information about this film night and the events in general, please email Massimo Nardi.
The next film night will be on Monday 20th April and will feature a film about a transgender person who hopes to find themselves and find love but falls victim to a brutal hate crime.
