Our regular monthly Movie Nights at Positive East – on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Come along and enjoy a film in the company of others living with HIV, enjoy a warm welcome, a hot meal, and maybe even some popcorn. Food is served from 6.15 with the movie starting at 7pm.
This time we have ‘Life Support’, starring Queen Latifah in a story of a woman and mother living with HIV – partly based on the real life story of Ana Wallace – and how she overcame and became a positive role model and an AIDS activist in the black community.
The film is in English, and we’ll be showing it with Portuguese subtitles.
