Movie Night at Positive East

Our regular monthly Movie Nights at Positive East – on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Come along and enjoy a film in the company of others living with HIV, enjoy a warm welcome, a hot meal, and maybe even some popcorn.  Food is served from 6.15 with the movie starting at 7pm.

This time we have the South African 2007 film Beat The Drum, Young Musa is orphaned after a mysterious illness strikes his village in KwaZulu Natal. To help his grandmother, Musa sets out for Johannesburg with his father’s last gift, a tribal drum, in search of work and his uncle. The journey confronts him with the stark realities of urban life, but his indomitable spirit never wavers; he returns with a truth and understanding his elders have failed to grasp.
