Our popular Movie Nights return to Positive East, with a bigger screen, an even warmer welcome, and some tasty hot food to share. Come along and make new friends, and meet up with old ones, as we recreate the magic of the movies here at Positive East.
This time we’re showing the hit 2016 Nigerian romantic comedy-drama The Wedding Party. By turns hilarious, but with plenty to say about differences between the sexes, generations, social classes, and traditional versus modern African culture. It’s certain to spark up some interesting conversations, as we watch preparations for a lavish wedding descend into chaos. There’s plenty to identify with and enjoy for anyone from any culture.
You can see the film’s trailer here
The film starts at 7pm, with a tasty hot meal served from 6.15 onwards.
