Our monthly group for gay and bisexual men, and men who have sex with men (open to cis and trans men) living with HIV.
Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month – social meetings, films, speakers, discussions or just getting together with other people living with HIV.
Tonight, we will be showing the short film, “The Ward – Revisited”. In 1993 Gideon spent a number of weeks photographing the Broderip and Charles Bell wards at the Middlesex Hospital. The Broderip was the first dedicated AIDS ward in London. Marking thirty years since the photographs were taken, this new film by Gideon Mendel shows highlights the effects of HIV/AIDS on the lives of the individuals in the photographs, with interviews with people who appeared in the original photographs. After the film, there will be a chance to share our own experience of living with HIV, whether a recent diagnosis or a long-term diagnosis.
There will be a tasty hot meal served between 6.30 and 7pm, with vegan and gluten free choices, plus soft drinks and juice.
