Positive Life – Gay and bisexual men’s group – goes to the theatre – Blink

Our monthly group for gay and bisexual men, and men who have sex with men living with HIV.  Cisgender and trans men are welcomed.

Usually meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month – social meetings, films, speakers, discussions or just getting together with other people living with HIV.

This time we shift to a Wednesday for the opening night of Blink, written and performed by Terry Geo, at Etcetera Theatre as part of the Camden Fringe Festival.

Blink gives a raw and emotional insight into modern life for an interracial couple. This one-man gay rom-com will have you laughing, cheering and reaching for the tissues.

Jake meets the man of his dreams, a Kenyan refugee now working for Stonewall. Their relationship is full of laughter and together they build an incredible life filled with love, adventure and comical moments. But being gay isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Together they face homophobia and racism head on, combat HIV stigma and show the world that two men – even from different races – are no different to anyone else.
