17th May is the annual IDAHOBIT day (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia). It’s a day reserved to highlight the issues around hate crime affecting our own LGBTQ+ communities. For this session, we have the lovely PC Rich Poolman (Met Police Hate Crime Coordinator) presenting a session looking at hate crime and how it affects us as gay/bi/MSM men and will also look at our other identities that makes us who we are, be it faith, race and, importantly, disability.
Doors open at 18:30, with a start at 19:00 sharp. As always, refreshments will be served. For more information, please email nick.maxwell@positiveeast.org.uk
