Positive Over 50 is our new social and support lunch group for people living with HIV aged 50 and above, running on the first Thursday afternoon of each month.
Join us for a tasty, freshly cooked, roast lunch prepared for us by our friends at Food Chain. Lunch will be served at 1pm in our friendly, relaxing cafe. Meat is halal, and there are vegan/vegetarian choices
Did you know?
There are many challenges and opportunities that we face growing older with HIV, and this is an opportunity to socialise over a good lunch and face them together. Whether you’ve been diagnosed for a long time, or more recently found out you’re HIV positive, and whatever community or background you’re from – this lunch group is for you if you are HIV positive, over 50, and either live in East London or get your HIV care in an East London clinic.
Places are limited and so you must let us know in advance if you intend to come. If travel or care costs are a barrier to taking part, you need to let us know in advance. Support is available to HIV positive people who live in East London (or get their HIV treatment in East London) who have no recourse to public funds, or are experiencing a gap in benefits or income.
