Wellbeing Matters: Faith, HIV and wellbeing – Including the launch of our new HIV and Christianity resource

January 25 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Another in our occasional series of Wellbeing Matters events, focusing on the health and wellbeing matters that people with HIV using our services have asked to learn more about.

This time it’s a focus on faith – an important factor in the wellbeing of many of us living with HIV, but also a source of challenges in staying engaged with our own faith and the faith communities we have connections with, or grew up in.

We’ll be launching our new booklet ‘HIV and Christianity’, as well as re-visiting our already existing ‘HIV and Islam’ booklet

With an introduction by Positive East’s very own Badru Male – who has overseen the development of both these resources – and with a panel discussion chaired by our own Head of Health and Wellbeing, Jack Summerside, plus some delicious food from our Friends at Food Chain.  This should be a fascinating and fruitful evening.  Panel members will be confirmed shortly.
