Our support group for women living with HIV who live, or get their HIV treatment in, East London. Offering a safe and supportive environment to help you connect with other women living with HIV, to socialise, have fun and learn and share with each other. There will also be a tasty hot meal served from around 6.15
It takes place on the last Wednesday of every other month, alternating with our Green Light group that is open to anyone living with HIV who lives in East London, or gets their treatment here.
This time we’re joined by some of the authors of the new book Our Stories Told By Us – Celebrating the African contribution to the UK HIV response. Amazing HIV positive African women activists, they will be sharing the wisdom of their resilience and activism, inspiring us all to get more involved.
Please let us know in advance if you intend to come, especially if travel or care costs are a barrier to taking part, you need to let us know in advance. Support is available to HIV positive people who live in East London (or get their HIV treatment in East London) who have no recourse to public funds, or are experiencing a gap in benefits or income. You’ll need to provide a receipt or other evidence of travel costs and spend.
